LISA'S STORY

Lisa Yerby, a descendant of a family full of artisans, found a passion in the form of glass beading over 20 years ago. In that time, Lisa has developed a unique craft in hand-beading decor and gifts from anything between eggs and fish to gnomes and boxes. Lisa's standout pieces, however, often come in the form of elegant Santas – each with unique patterns, colors, and poses.

THE PROCESS

Lisa has been using tiny glass seed beads to create works of art since 2017.  She lives in the Raleigh, North Carolina area where she designs and fabricates her unique and fun menagerie resulting in one-of-a-kind creations.  She hand-glues individual beads onto the sculpture producing dazzling textured designs.  The light reflecting off the glass seed beads brings personality and fun to every piece.

Lisa has grown her art from one collection of beaded Santa figures to seven collections of fish, eggs, animals, trees, gnomes, and snow people.  She is working to extend these collections as well as adding new ideas.
